Toast cashews in butter, until slightly toasted and fragrant
Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine, allow to simmer so flavors can come together
Taste and adjust as needed
The cool part apart this sauce is that you can tweak to your taste. If you want it more sweet than spicy - add more honey or guava, more salt - add a little more salt or soy and so one with the spice level - add more jerk. Bonus! It is super versatile; use it on chicken, shrimp, steak or pork. Yum!
I am so excitedly nervous to share my first ever Youtube recipe (tutorial) with you guys. It isn’t flawless but I am super happy with it. I decided to do something simple in order to ease my way in to the “food video” process plus that’s how I cook – SIMPLE but good! This video and recipe below is one of my absolute favorite condiments – I REALLY love this stuff to no end. It’s Chipotle Mayo! I have simplified the ratios/amounts of the ingredients in order to make it easy as 1-2-3. I hope you try it, enjoy it and share it ;o) And take a pic of it and hashtag #iCook #Cooking WithShelly so I can repost.
